Somewhere in the west, beneath the clouds, the sun was going down. The hanyou sat in stillness as his powers drained away, leaving him human and defenseless.
Across the floor, Kagome stared at her companion. Does that hurt?
Inuyasha shook his head. Not really. It feels strange when it first starts but it quickly fades away into a numb feeling that lasts the whole night.
